Ralph Lauren is set to expand its Nashville footprint with a new retail store in the city’s popular 12South neighborhood. The brand will occupy a new retail development at 2318 12th Avenue South, the former home of 12 South Taproom, according to the Nashville Business Journal.
The project will also include Ralph’s Coffee, the company’s café concept, alongside the new Ralph Lauren store. The development is replacing the former restaurant building with a modern retail space as part of the continued transformation of one of Nashville’s most sought-after shopping districts. Ralph Lauren joins a growing list of national retailers investing in the neighborhood, where several new retail projects are underway.
Nearby developments include a new retail building from the Dallas-based group behind the 12South Collection, a retail project by Corner Partnership, and the redevelopment of the former White’s Mercantile property for Anthropologie and Mother’s Ruin. Alo is also expected to open in the new building at the former 12 South Taproom site.
According to Ralph Lauren’s website, the company was founded in 1967 and has grown into a global lifestyle brand offering apparel, accessories, home furnishings and luxury collections. The company launched Ralph’s Coffee in New York City in 2014, and the café concept has since expanded to select Ralph Lauren locations worldwide, serving coffee, espresso drinks, teas and baked goods.
The project is currently in development, with an opening date yet to be revealed.
