Westbound & Down Brewing Company has a new restaurant and taproom in the works for Wheat Ridge.

The brewery announced the new location at 5540 W. 29th Avenue, which is expected to open in late 2026 or early 2027.

At about 4,000 square feet, the Wheat Ridge space will be the brewery’s first location designed entirely from the ground up. Plans include 18 taps and a full kitchen, giving visitors plenty to choose from on both the food and beer side.

The menu will include pizzas, sandwiches and pub fare, drawing from the food program chef Casey Taylor has developed at Westbound & Down’s Lafayette location. Westbound & Down got its start in Idaho Springs and has since grown beyond its original location, including opening in Lafayette.

The brewery said more updates on the Wheat Ridge location will be shared as work on the new space moves forward.
