An immersive dining experience is coming to Cherry Hill with the arrival of a Brazilian steakhouse.
Fogo de Chão plans to open in the former Brio Italian Grille space at Towne Place at Garden State Park, according to 42 Freeway.
The shopping center is home to major retailers including Wegmans, Home Depot, Costco, Best Buy, Nordstrom Rack and Barnes & Noble.
The Cherry Hill restaurant will become the Garden State’s fifth Fogo de Chão location, joining existing restaurants in Paramus, Wayne and Bridgewater, as well as an upcoming location in Princeton.
The steakhouse will feature the brand’s newly developed design, including a 360-degree view of the open churrasco grill, where guests can watch gaucho chefs hand-carve and grill meats.
Fogo de Chão is known for its prix fixe churrasco experience, offering a wide selection of meats, including sirloin, filet mignon, ribeye, wagyu, chicken, lamb and pork. Guests can also enjoy the Market Table, featuring seasonal salads, smoked salmon, charcuterie, antipasti and fresh superfoods.
Servers circulate the dining room with a variety of meats, and when a guest’s card is flipped to green, it signals they’re ready to be served. When the card is red, servers pass the table until the next round.
The interactive restaurant began 46 years ago as a celebrated eatery in Brazil and opened its first U.S. location in Dallas in 1997 after gaining international acclaim. The chain now operates over 100 locations, both in the U.S. and internationally.
