Those in the small town are getting ready for a new breakfast addition.
From KZOO Kids, The Cozy Clover is a new restaurant concept owner Travis Maher is bringing to 10 E Michigan Avenue in Galesburg. Along with the new location, he is hoping to debut an additional restaurant in the next few years. He said the goal is to open around the middle of August.
Maher has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Working in kitchens in the past, he has had the idea to serve signature breakfast items to a community like Galesburg.
“I’ve always wanted to do breakfast,” Maher said.
A menu has already been designed, which includes corned beef hash & eggs, biscuits and gravy and a breakfast burrito. Omelets, pancakes and other breakfast classics are to be expected. For drinks, coffees and Pepsi products are available.
The Cozy Clover will be at the southeast intersection of W Michigan Avenue and W Battle Creek Street. This is next to Simington Jewelers and across from Coffee Klutch. Galesburg is just east of Kalamazoo off of Interstate 94.
Maher said he is waiting on going through the health department to get an official opening date. As it gets closer to the opening, Maher will be providing more updates on the location in the coming weeks.
