The town just north of Flint is getting a new option for specialty trading cards.
Vienna Township’s Business Development Authority recently posted about Big Cal’s Cardhouse coming to 11499 N Saginaw Road #1. This is at a developing plaza in the city just east of the downtown. Owner Dalton Loff told What Now Detroit he is hoping to open around mid-November or later.
Loff is a Clio entrepreneur who has wanted to start his own business for a while. He wanted to create a space for trading card lovers in the Clio area who don’t currently have a place to enjoy their hobby. Cards sold will include sports like baseball, football and basketball, as well as cartoons and anime like One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon. He is also offering supplies for the cards like binders and sleeves.
“Buy, sell trade,” says the billboard in front of the plaza.
Big Cal’s is under construction on the west side of Saginaw Road, next to Silhouette Styling Station. This is also across from Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center, near the W Pine Street intersection. The area is a short drive east of downtown Clio
Loff has not yet made a website or social media pages for his business, but he will be updating the community on the official opening date in the near future.
