San Diego-based hospitality group is bringing its American breakfast and brunch concept to Texas for the first time. According to a company announcement, Rise & Shine Hospitality Group plans to open Greenville Breakfast Company in the Dallas area later this year, marking the first Texas location for the brand.
The Breakfast Company is famous for its inventive sweet and savory fusion dishes like Florida French toast and fried rice Benedict.
“We’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead […] It’s an exciting new chapter for our team, our guests, and our company,” said Johan Engman, founder of Rise & Shine Hospitality Group, in a press release shared with What Now Dallas.
Breakfast Company currently operates in San Diego’s Gaslamp and Mission Valley neighborhoods. The Texas debut on Greenville Avenue would be the Breakfast Company brand’s first expansion outside of California. The Greenville Avenue corridor in Dallas is one of the city’s most established dining destinations, known for its walkable streetscape and dense residential base..
The opening is part of a broader Texas push for Rise & Shine. The company said Breakfast Republic locations in Texas are also planned, though no details have been announced yet. The group simultaneously continues expanding Breakfast Republic across Southern California, with new locations planned for Palm Springs, Orange County, and Los Angeles.
