SweatDreams, a coach-led strength and conditioning fitness concept, is getting ready to open a new location in Oceanside at 1122 S Coast Highway.
The new studio has signed a lease at the Eucalyptus Grove retail center, according to a Retail Insite leasing brochure. The property is currently undergoing a remodel by new ownership, with completion expected in the third quarter of 2026. Owner Michael Laird was unable to provide an exact opening date to WhatNow. SweatDreams will occupy a 2,594-square-foot space alongside new tenants including Rosanna’s Pasta Shop, Modern Blonde Salon, and Ironsmith Coffee Roasters. Members can expect coach-led group workouts centered around strength training, conditioning, and community-focused fitness.
“We are excited to move into Eucalyptus Grove; we feel like it’s the perfect next step for the brand after our expansion to Encinitas,” Laird tells WhatNow San Diego. “The only right step then was to improve on our flagship original Oceanside studio.”
SweatDreams has built its training model around three core programs, Build, Hybrid, and Endurance, giving members the flexibility to choose workouts based on their individual fitness goals. According to the company’s website, each class is designed around the principles of progressive overload, specificity, and consistency, with programming that changes regularly while maintaining a structured approach. The company also offers SweatDreams Saturday sessions that encourage teamwork and friendly competition.
The fitness brand currently operates studios in Oceanside, Encinitas, and Palm Desert. Its existing Oceanside location is less than a mile from the new site at 419 S Coast Highway. The expansion comes as South Oceanside continues to attract new retail, dining, and wellness businesses, with several redevelopment projects underway throughout the neighborhood. This will be an excellent landing space for SweatDreams as the area continues to grow.
SweatDreams offers several membership options, including plans with eight or 12 classes per month, unlimited monthly memberships, single class passes, and class packs. New customers can also take advantage of a seven-day unlimited trial before committing to a membership. The studio’s programming is designed to accommodate a range of fitness levels while allowing members to build consistency over time.
