Furniture brand 7th Avenue is preparing to expand its Southern California presence with a new showroom at Westfield UTC in La Jolla, expected to open in spring 2027.
Clary Groen, VP of Real Estate who spoke with What Now San Diego, confirmed the upcoming location and said it is the company’s only other planned opening in Southern California over approximately the next year.
Based in Los Angeles, 7th Avenue specializes in contemporary modular sofas designed to adapt to different living spaces. Its collection includes configurable sectional sofas, ottomans and outdoor seating, with options for different fabrics, colors and layouts.
The brand distinguishes its products through performance materials designed for everyday use. Its sofas feature water-repellent and stain-resistant fabrics, as well as removable, machine-washable covers.
The company also offers modular configurations that allow customers to rearrange individual sections to suit their homes.
The La Jolla showroom will introduce the brand’s furniture collection to shoppers at Westfield UTC, an open-air shopping center at 4545 La Jolla Village Drive.
According to Groen, the company is excited about entering the market and sees an opportunity to connect with local consumers.
“The trade area is characterized by high household incomes, sprawling single-family homes, and high ownership rates,” Groen told What Now San Diego.
He added that the company believes its products will resonate with residents seeking a clean, minimalist, high-end aesthetic alongside practical features.
