EƍS Fitness Plans New Gym in Redland Area of San Antonio

The approximately 40,000-square-foot gym is expected to open in winter 2027 with fitness, recovery and outdoor workout amenities

EƍS Fitness is preparing to open a new San Antonio location at the northeast corner of Redland Road and Loop 1604, expanding the fitness chain’s presence in the city, according to its website.

The gym is planned for 2939 N Loop 1604 E., within the Redland Plaza development. EƍS Fitness lists the location as coming soon, with an anticipated opening in winter 2027.

The new gym is expected to offer EƍS Fitness’ signature mix of fitness equipment, group classes and recovery-focused amenities. The company’s listed amenities for the location include group fitness classes, strength training, EƍS Smart Strength equipment powered by EGYM, a CryoLounge, The Tank recovery space, The EƍS Yard and an outdoor workout area.

The location will also offer amenities including free weights, saunas, personal training, an EƍS Kids’ Club, towel service and the company’s EVOLT body-composition scanner, according to EƍS Fitness.

The planned gym is part of EƍS Fitness’ broader expansion across the San Antonio market. The company currently lists multiple upcoming San Antonio locations, including the Redland Road/Loop 1604 gym and another location at Loop 1604 and Bandera Road.

The Redland location was previously announced as a roughly 40,000-square-foot indoor gym with an additional 2,500 square feet of contiguous outdoor space. The location is positioned as an anchor at Redland Plaza, a retail development at the northeast corner of Redland Road and Loop 1604.

EƍS Fitness has described its gyms as “High Value. Low Price.” locations, with 24/7 access and membership options designed around different fitness goals and budgets.

As of this writing, EƍS Fitness has not announced a specific grand-opening date for the Redland Road location beyond its winter 2027 target.
