A new restaurant and bar is set to open in the East Village.
Tompkins Social Club will debut at 503 E. 6th St., between avenues A and B, according to business filings.
The space will accommodate up to 74 guests and feature an L-shaped bar, along with a standing bar area for guests.
Tompkins Social Club will offer modern American fare with a unique twist, highlighting New York City comfort foods.
The menu will be divided into several categories, including “The Deli,” with sandwiches, melts, bagels and schmears; “The Cart,” offering street food staples like dirty water dogs and meat over rice; “The Bodega,” with breakfast sandwiches; “The Slice Shop,” serving dollar slices of pie; “The Market,” with salads; “The Luncheonette,” offering steak frites and fish and chips; and “Downtown Bites,” featuring pork soup dumplings and banh mi bao buns.
For those with a sweet tooth, “The Bakery” will offer black-and-white cookies, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream cups and egg cream floats.
The bar will offer a curated cocktail program, with martinis served alongside a bump of caviar, as well as a selection of beer and wine.
An official opening date has not yet been announced. Once open, Tompkins Social Club will operate daily from 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
