“The Sarasota Square redevelopment is transforming one of the largest underutilized sites in South Sarasota into a mixed-use destination centered around retail, dining, residential living, and walkable outdoor spaces,” says LivingInPalmerRanch.com. “Anchored by Whole Foods Market and now nearly fully leased in Phase 1, the project is beginning to move from concept to reality.”

As the project has moved forward, several retail and restaurant concepts have signed on. The tenant roster that includes Chipotle, Whole Foods, and Homesense will also include a new outpost of eyewear brand Warby Parker.

Offering eyeglasses, sunglasses, contacts, and more, Warby Parker will open in Building B.1. It’s expected to launch in early 2027.

“Warby Parker was founded with a mission: to inspire and impact the world with vision, purpose, and style,” says the Warby Parker website. “We aim to demonstrate that a business can scale, become profitable, and do good in the world—without charging a premium for it. Since the day we launched in 2010, we’ve pioneered ideas, designed products, and developed technologies that help people see—from designer-quality prescription glasses (starting at $95) and contacts to eye exams and vision tests. Customers can meet us online, at more than 300 Warby Parker stores across the U.S. and Canada, or even in their home.”
