According to public filings, Pelican Liquor plans to open a second location at 807 S. Central Expressway, Suite 120, inside Anna Retail Addition. Permitting records list a construction completion date of November 2026. However, dates listed in public filings are not always definitive.
Pelican liquor offers a wide selection of vodka, tequila, whiskey, rum, gin, beer, and wine, along with mixers, non-alcoholic drinks, bar accessories, and a dedicated cigar room stocked with tobacco products. The shop also hosts regular tastings for customers.
What Now Dallas reached out to owner Dushyant Patel, who said the Anna store is still in a preliminary stage.
Patel said the Anna expansion builds directly on his existing store in East McKinney, at 1880 Bray Central Dr., which opened in March 2025, according to Community Impact.
“I was trying to create the whole area for Pelican Liquor in a store where the city is wet,” Patel told the outlet, pointing to the Highway 75 corridor’s visibility as a key factor in choosing the Anna site.
The Pelican Liquor development adds to a wave of new business activity What Now Dallas has recently tracked in Anna. The publication previously reported on Bahama Buck’s first Anna location and Smalls Sliders’ planned restaurant, part of franchisee Raleigh’s push to open at least five locations across Collin County.
