Potbelly is continuing its Jacksonville expansion with a second location planned for Hodges Station at 13529 Beach Blvd.
The new restaurant will be opening in the coming months and offer more options for customers to get Potbelly’s toasted sandwiches among other fast-casual food items. There will also be an additional feature of drive-thru for those customers who want to grab their meals while they drive through.
The construction is done by Capital Empire Construction Group which is based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. The cost of construction is around $600,000.
Potbelly originated from the Lincoln Park district of Chicago where the first store was established in 1977. Currently, Potbelly is a nationally recognized quick service restaurant chain that has more than 360 stores distributed among 30 states.
The company offers toasted sandwich items such as Italian style sandwiches, turkey, steak and chicken, among others. The company also has salad items, soups, cookies, shakes, and other side items on their menu.
Potbelly’s Jacksonville expansion comes as the company continues growing its footprint beyond its Chicago roots.
