A South Shore breakfast and lunch favorite is bringing its pancakes, sandwiches, and signature iced coffee to a new neighborhood this fall.
Emma Lisa’s Breakfast & Lunch is expanding in Quincy, where owner Lisa Stewart plans to open a second location at 36 School Street in early October 2026. The new restaurant will be just a short drive from the original Emma Lisa’s on Willard Street.
“We’re growing!” wrote the Emma Lisa’s team in a recent social media announcement. “Same great iced coffee, new Quincy neighborhood!”
For fans of the original, the new location should feel very familiar. Stewart told What Now Boston it will be “exactly” like the flagship, from the menu to the look and feel of the space. Launched in 2018, Emma Lisa’s has the welcoming, old-school charm of a classic neighborhood diner, with a rustic, unfussy atmosphere that keeps the focus firmly on the food.
The menu offers plenty of classic breakfast fare, including pancakes, French toast, breakfast burritos, egg sandwiches, and three-egg omelettes. For lunch, diners can choose from burgers, sandwiches, and wraps, with coffee, tea, sodas, and other beverages available throughout the day. Among the drinks, Emma Lisa’s signature iced coffee is a fan favorite.
Emma Lisa’s also regularly rolls out seasonal specials. This fall’s lineup includes a Grilled Chicken Avocado Breakfast Bowl, Homemade Carrot Cake French Toast, Meat Lovers Breakfast Quesadilla, and Crushed Peanut Butter Cup Iced Coffee.
Stewart has not yet set an exact opening date, as she is continuing to finalize the details for the new location. For the latest updates, follow Emma Lisa’s Breakfast & Lunch on Facebook and Instagram.
