Trader Joe’s is continuing its expansion in Palm Beach County, with a new store planned for Boynton Beach in 2027.

The popular grocery chain is expected to open at Oakwood Square, 334 N. Congress Avenue, across from the Boynton Beach Mall.

The new Trader Joe’s will occupy the approximately 36,000-square-foot former Stein Mart space at the shopping center. A specific opening date has not yet been announced.

The Boynton Beach store will become Trader Joe’s sixth location in Palm Beach County, further expanding the California-based grocer’s presence in the region. The company recently added another Palm Beach County location in West Palm Beach.

Trader Joe’s has developed a loyal following for its mix of private-label groceries, prepared foods, snacks, frozen items, wine, flowers and seasonal products. The chain is also known for frequently introducing limited-time products that have helped generate an enthusiastic following among shoppers. The grocery chain’s items include a mix of fresh items and frozen convenience foods, along with wine and beer.
