Maison Benoit plans to open a new bakery in Pleasanton at 337 Main Street in early 2027, according to Diablo Magazine. The publication reported that the French bakery will take over the former Bank of America building in downtown Pleasanton, expanding the business beyond its existing Danville location.
Maison Benoit is a French bakery and café established in Danville. The business specializes in breads, pastries, and other French baked goods, with its website presenting the bakery as a destination for traditional French-style products made in-house.
According to the company’s menu, its bakery offerings include croissants, pain au chocolat, brioche, canelés, éclairs, tarts, and other pastries. The menu also includes breads and savory items such as sandwiches, quiches and tartines, along with coffee and other beverages.
The Pleasanton project will give Maison Benoit substantially more space than its Danville bakery, according to Diablo Magazine. The publication reported that the planned Pleasanton location will occupy about 6,500 square feet, compared with the smaller footprint of the company’s existing bakery.
The larger space is expected to allow the business to produce its baked goods on site. Diablo Magazine reported that the Pleasanton location will include production space for breads, pastries, and viennoiseries, while continuing the type of French bakery offerings available at the Danville shop.
