A new bar is set to make its debut in the East Village.

Rad’s, from the team behind Sweetie and Jewel Box, will open at 116 Avenue C between E. 7th and E. 8th streets, according to business filings.

The space will feature a central indoor bar with booth and stool seating, TVs and occasional DJ performances. The outdoor section will sit in front of the bar, with two tables on each side.

Rad’s will serve appetizers, sandwiches and classic bar fare, including buffalo chicken dip, mozzarella sticks, mac and cheese bites, quesadillas, grilled cheese, all-beef hot dogs and flatbreads.

An official opening date has not yet been announced.

Once open, Rad’s will operate indoors Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Thursday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.; and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. Outdoor hours will run Tuesday through Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m.
