A new eatery is set to make its debut in Manhattan’s East Village.

Laozao Hotpot will open at 37 St. Marks Pl., between Third and Second avenues, according to business filings.

Owner Ming Lin brings a decade of restaurant industry experience to the new venture, having spent 10 years working at Szechuan Mountain House.

The restaurant plans to serve traditional Chinese hot pot. Hot pot is typically an interactive, communal dining experience, allowing guests to cook raw ingredients in a pot of simmering broth at the center of the table.

Laozao Hotpot also plans to offer a selection of liquor and wine for guests.

An official opening date has not yet been announced. Once open, Laozao Hotpot plans to operate Monday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., with the kitchen closing at 10 p.m.
