A new restaurant is bringing French flair and New York energy to Hell’s Kitchen this winter.

Le Yard, co-owned by Donald Lena and Amaraldo Bego, will debut at 858 9th Ave. between W. 55th and W. 56th St., according to business filings.

“I’ve spent the last few years working in restaurants. Now I’m opening one with my partner. For now, we have the keys. Next, we start making the room our own,” Lena shared on Le Yard’s website.

The menu will blend French delicacies with American comfort favorites, using bold flavors and high-quality ingredients.

Lunch will follow a prix fixe format, with guests choosing from main courses such as salmon beurre blanc, truffle cacio e pepe or chicken paillard.

Dinner will offer a broader selection, including salmon béarnaise, filet au poivre and beurre blanc cod, alongside the pasta and chicken options served at lunch.

The cocktail and wine program will complement the menu, with Lena emphasizing the importance of pairing each drink with the dining experience.

“I want what’s in your glass to belong with what’s on your plate, and with the evening you came in for,” he said.

The team is working on the interior design, which will feature walnut shades throughout the main dining room, while the bar will include shelves for flowers and Le Yard plates.

Le Yard will debut in December and operate daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Visit the Le Yard website and follow along on Instagram for the latest updates.
