A Japanese restaurant is bringing its fare to Hell’s Kitchen with a new location.
Tenjou will open at 313 W. 57th St. between 8th and 9th ave. in the former Bareburger space, according to business filings.
The restaurant will join its flagship in Flatiron.
The upcoming space will accommodate up to 58 guests, with an eight-seat standing bar area.
Tenjou’s menu features shareable plates, sushi, ramen and poke bowls for lunch and dinner.
Standouts include the “Fifth Avenue” roll, featuring spicy tuna, salmon and yellowtail with avocado and crispy noodles wrapped in soy paper and finished with plum sauce; “Mega Ramen,” topped with shrimp tempura, chashu pork, half a marinated egg, corn, bamboo shoots, scallions and sliced kikurage; and a classic poke bowl with all the fixings.
Curated cocktails, along with a selection of beer and wine, round out the offerings.
An official opening date has not yet been announced. Once open, Tenjou will operate daily from 11 a.m. to midnight, with the kitchen closing at 11:30 p.m.
