New York design brand plans first Austin location. According to public filings, TileBar plans to open a new showroom at 624 N. Lamar Blvd. in Austin.

TileBar offers a range of design materials, including tile, stone, and bath products made from marble, terracotta, porcelain, and wood, catering to homeowners, designers, and contractors working on renovation and building projects.

What Now Austin reached out to TileBar representatives to inquire about the opening timeline, but did not receive a response prior to press time. However, permitting records list a construction completion date of June 2027. Dates listed in public filings are not always definitive.

The Austin location would give the brand its first Central Texas showroom, expanding its physical retail footprint into a new region while continuing to lean on its e-commerce presence and digital following.

The North Lamar project would continue TileBar’s national retail expansion, which What Now Atlanta reported on with the brand’s entry into Georgia, opening a Buckhead Village showroom.

Founded in New York in 2009, TileBar has grown from an e-commerce-first business into a brand with a small but expanding network of physical showrooms, including existing locations in Manhattan, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Dallas, Raleigh, and Burlington, Massachusetts.
