An intimate French bistro is set to debut in Hell’s Kitchen.
Maison Fabrice, owned by Fabrice Joseph LeForest, will open at 365 W. 50th St. in the former Chez Napoleon space, according to business filings.
“My goal is a place that feels less like a restaurant and more like having people over to my house,” LeForest said in an explanation of Maison Fabrice.
The space will accommodate 38 guests, with a stand-up corner bar featuring additional seating.
Maison Fabrice plans to serve starters such as caramelized onion soup, escargots with garlic-parsley butter, charcuterie, and seared sea scallops with saffron cream and leek fondue.
For the main course, diners can choose from a peppercorn-crusted filet with cognac cream sauce and pommes frites, whole Mediterranean sea bass with herbs, lemon and olive oil, or chicken braised with Burgundy, bacon, mushrooms and pearl onions.
Maison Fabrice will offer an entirely French wine list featuring selections from Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhône, Champagne and the Loire Valley.
To finish things on a sweet note, diners can indulge in vanilla custard, an upside-down apple tart or dark chocolate mousse topped with whipped cream.
An official opening date has not yet been announced, but the restaurant’s Instagram page reads November 2026 for its debut.
Once open, Maison Fabrice will operate Monday through Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Thursday from 5 p.m. to midnight, Friday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
