Milk Bar is a longtime neighborhood cafe in Brooklyn. It is located at 620 Vanderbilt Avenue near Prospect Place and at 204 6th Avenue near Union Street. This week, the cafe announced that it will be closing both locations permanently towards the end of this year.
Milk Bar shared the news of its upcoming closure on social media. The cafe’s final day of operation has yet to be decided; however, owner Kylie Sachs confirms that this will be its last season of operations. The post reads, “This will be Milk Bar’s last season of operations. We are closing towards the end of the year. As soon as we have definitive dates, we will share them.”

Milk Bar is a business owned by Kylie Sachs and partners, who purchased it in 2016 from founder Alex Hall.
