Studio Pilates Set to Open First Midtown Manhattan Location

Studio Pilates is opening a new location on September 26. The location will open at 600 West 57th Street in Midtown Manhattan. The opening marks another step in Studio Pilates’ expansion across New York and the U.S.

The new studio will take over a 2,500-square-foot space. The location is owned and operated by Brooklyn resident Maggie Romnios. She is beginning a new career as an entrepreneur after spending years in advertising.

After experiencing Studio Pilates while recovering from surgery, Romnios decided to invest in the brand and open a Midtown location.

The new studio also has a connection to New York’s Pilates history and is located just a few blocks from the former Eighth Avenue studio. It is where Joseph and Clara Pilates established their New York practice nearly 100 years ago.

To celebrate the opening, the West 57th Street studio is offering six classes for $60 as an introductory promotion. The site was once home to the New York practice established by Joseph and Clara Pilates nearly a century ago.

Studio Pilates West 57th Street will offer 40-minute reformer Pilates workouts for people of all ages and fitness levels. It will feature custom reformers, hardwood floors, and chandeliers. These will help create a comfortable and upscale workout environment.

The workouts are designed by physical therapists. They use a variety of exercises that are meant to increase strength, muscle tone, posture, and general fitness. Each reformer has an SPTV screen that shows demonstrations and provides audio instructions throughout the workout.

The classes are available from early morning through evening. The idea is to make it easier for clients to incorporate workouts into their schedules.
