McKinney Trailers is planning a new facility at 5807 Schertz Parkway in Selma, Texas, according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) project records.

The project, listed under TDLR number TABS2027000400, calls for the construction of a new 8,766-square-foot building on the existing property. The building will include office and storage space, along with new concrete paving and a dumpster enclosure.

The project has an estimated construction cost of $370,000 and is privately funded. According to the TDLR filing, the project is being developed on private land for private use, and the private funds are not being provided by the tenant.

Construction is scheduled to begin September 21, 2026, with completion expected by February 8, 2027.

McKinney Vehicle Services Inc. is listed as the owner in the TDLR records, with an address in Brea, California. Eusebio Padilla is listed as the person filing the project, while Fusion-AE is identified as the design firm.

The project is currently listed as registered with TDLR. The tenant is not assigned in the project records.

McKinney Trailers is associated with trailer sales and services, but the TDLR filing does not specify whether the new building will serve as an expansion of the company’s existing operations, a new facility, or another use.

An exact opening or operational date for the new facility has not been announced.

What Now San Antonio has reached out to McKinney Trailers for additional information about the upcoming Selma facility, including the purpose of the new building and its expected operational timeframe, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
