Little Jack’s Tavern, the “old fashioned American tavern” at 710 King St, is currently closed for repairs to its space.
“Owing to an unfortunate and serious roof leak, we’ve encountered a serious electrical issue requiring immediate repair,” the restaurant said in a Facebook post this week. “Please stay tuned here for more information.”
Repairs are currently estimated to take about two weeks. This means King Street won’t have to wait too long for Little Jack’s Tavern’s “classic cocktails, fine spirits, great burgers, comfort food, light salads, cold beer, and nice wine.”
Little Jack’s Tavern is a much-loved concept from Charleston-based entrepreneur and writer Brooks Reitz, who is also the founder of Leon’s Oyster Shop and Jack Rudy Cocktail Co. Reitz’s writing “explores the intersections of business, craft, and every day life.”

Meanwhile, follow Little Jack’s Tavern on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the reopening.
