Memphis locals are getting a new home for the full grooming treatment. Papers show that a concept called Whitney’s Beauty & Barber is planning to open in the area and will be offering a wide range of services.
Whitney’s Beauty & Barber is poised to occupy a storefront located at 2372 Jackson Avenue. The salon currently has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development; the form shows that that location will afford Whitney’s with 800 square feet of space in which to welcome and service clients.
Whitney’s-described as a “beauty and barber shop”-promises to offer a range of treatments designed to help customers feel their best. The principal use is listed as: “Hair, nail, Tanning, massage therapy and personal care service, barber shop or beauty salon”.
Whitney’s Beauty & Barber does not yet have a digital footprint or an available opening timeline. The certificate of occupancy remains under review as of October 15. What Now Memphis has reached out to ownership for further information and will update readers as details become available.
