Located in the historic Downtown Franklin neighborhood, Imago Dei permanently closed its doors over the weekend. Owner Sarah Tucker Cash announced the closure on Instagram after nearly 10 years in business.
Franklin Lifestyle Boutique Closes After Nearly 10 Years
Sarah Tucker Cash founded Imago Dei, a prominent, faith-centered lifestyle boutique in October 2016. The store focused on high-quality, effortless, and timeless women’s apparel, seasonal fashion pieces, accessories, and more. The store also included children’s and baby clothes and home decor items.
In a social media announcement, the owner of the store shared the closure news. The Imago Dei store, located at 326 Main Street in Franklin, permanently closed its doors on October 25, after 10 years of service. The store hosted a final farewell celebration on its last weekend of operation (October 24 and October 25).
Cash thanked the community, writing, “To everyone who has walked through our doors, supported our family, prayed for us, and loved this little shop over the last ten years: thank you.”

What Led to the Closure
Cash said she decided to close the boutique to focus on her family, marriage, and the arrival of her second child.
She stated, “We close our doors knowing that one season coming to an end doesn’t take away its beauty and that a new one (marriage, family, baby #2 due in Jan!!) doesn’t take away the other’s importance.”
The owner also noted that if any customer had placed an order (in-store and online) and did not receive it, they can send a direct message to the store. She assured the customers that they will “square things away and make them right!!”
Several customers expressed their disappointment about the closure news, while others thanked Sarah and Imago Dei for their service. “Thrilled for your next chapter. Thank you for bringing such a LIGHT to this town,” wrote one customer.
