A small coffee trailer has grown into a business with plans for a second location. Caruzinn Café is expanding to downtown Palatka, where it is preparing to open at 912 St. Johns Avenue.
The café announced the news on Facebook, sharing that the new location will mark another step in its growth. The business currently operates in Glen St. Mary and described the Palatka project as its second location.
The announcement also reflected on how far the business has come since its early days as a small coffee trailer. The owners credited their staff for helping make the expansion possible, while thanking customers for supporting the business along the way.
Caruzinn Café has built its existing offering around coffee, specialty drinks and food. Its menu includes espresso-based beverages, cold brew, teas, smoothies and specialty drinks, alongside breakfast and lighter food options.
Customers can find choices such as bagels, smoothie bowls and a variety of toppings and add-ons. The café also offers specialty beverages, including Lotus energy drinks and flavored drink combinations. The existing menu gives a sense of the café’s offerings, although the full menu for the Palatka location has not yet been confirmed.
The new café will be located in downtown Palatka at 912 St. Johns Avenue. The business has already shared a preview of the storefront, featuring colorful floral artwork and signage bearing the Caruzinn Café Palatka name.
A permit application for the address was submitted in November under Caruzinn Café. The filing is currently listed as in process at the plan review and initial stage.
While the announcement confirms the company’s plans for a second location, an exact opening date has not yet been shared. For Caruzinn Café, the Palatka project represents a significant milestone for a business that started with a much smaller setup. Now, it is preparing to bring its coffee and café concept to a new downtown community.
