Nordstrom Rack, the sister to Nordstrom stores carrying apparel for women, men, and children, along with shoes, bags, accessories, and home items, is planning to open a new store in Farmington Hills next year.

According to recent coverage by Retail & Leisure International, the new Nordstrom Rack will join the Hunters Square shopping center, with a targeted opening in Fall 2027.

“Symmetry Management is pleased to welcome Nordstrom Rack as a key entry into the Hunter’s Square development,” said Frank Jarbou, CEO and President at Symmetry Management, which manages Hunter’s Square, in a press release. “Their arrival signifies a major milestone in our vision for the site and reinforces Hunter’s Square as a premier retail destination in the market.”

Nordstrom Rack is at work on a considerable number of new locations in the U.S., with a particular focus on southeastern in cities like Tampa, Orlando, and Atlanta.

“We look forward to being a part of the Farmington Hills community and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices,” said Gemma Lionello, President of Nordstrom Rack, in the press release. “We’re excited to grow our footprint in the Detroit market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience.”

“Welcome to Nordstrom Rack,” says the Nordstrom Rack website. “We’re all about delivering great brands at great prices—up to 70% off great-looking clothes, shoes and accessories, plus awesome décor for your home. Also awesome: 90% of the brands offered at Rack are the very same brands you’ll find at Nordstrom—with new trends, styles and staples delivered weekly.”

Opening at Hunters Square, Nordstrom Rack will join a business community that includes retailers like T.J. Maxx, Ulta Beauty, and RH Outlet.
