Northridge later in 2020 will be home to California’s first Two Hands Seoul Fresh Corn Dogs eatery.
The Korean-American fast-casual restaurant franchise is under construction, at 18431 Nordhoff St., in space most recently occupied by SuperTans.
Tae Jin Kim of IN+EX Studio, Inc., the project’s architect, Wednesday confirmed the plans in a telephone conversation with What Now Los Angeles.
An estimated $100,000 will be spent converting the shuttered tanning salon into the restaurant, according to plans filed with the City.
Two Hands America, Inc., is the location’s franchisee and is unrelated to the first-known U.S. Two Hands which is situated in Lewisville, Texas (pictured above).
The Seoul-style corn dogs are also heading to Houston’s Bellaire Food Street development.
“Two Hands Seoul Fresh Corn Dog brings the best of Korean-inspired street fare and fast food to bring you fresh corn dogs and other menu selections,” according to the restaurant’s website.
“Whether you prefer something slightly sweet or deliciously spicy, we have the solution to your cravings.”
In addition to its corn dogs, Two Hands offers sides like kimchi cheese fries.
