More Silverlake Ramen openings are already on the horizon since What Now Los Angeles (WNLA) previously revealed its future Porter Ranch location. There’s now been confirmation from Silverlake Ramen Operations Manager Devin Curry that yet another Silverlake Ramen is in the works for SoCal, this time in The Village Shops and Plaza, at 3200 Sepulveda Blvd. The Village Shops is an extension of the Manhattan Village development, slated to house a variety of previously announced tenants including Dan Modern Chinese, Sidecar, and edo Little Bites, which is slated to debut in February.

Curry gave WNLA an estimate that Silverlake Ramen’s Manhattan Beach opening will be in the first half of 2021. At its new location, Silverlake Ramen will introduce new vegan options, such as plant-based appetizers and a new “impossible patty.” However, Silverlake Ramen is, according to Curry, most well-known for its pork belly. Everything on the menu is made in-house and hand-rolled with an emphasis on fresh ingredients.

While Curry has decidedly focused on beach areas — where he said Silverlake Ramen experiences a great amount of success — plans exist to open up plenty of new locations in the near future that are land-locked. In fact, an El Paso, Texas location should open up on November 6 of this year, with a few more locations in the near future including in Kirkland, Washington, a suburb of Seattle in early December, and Cerritos in January.
