Queen Tea, the Kennesaw bubble tea and dim sum eatery founded in 2019 by Joleen Dai, is in the process of expanding to Marietta. A recent announcement across the company’s social media channels reads, “Our new location at The Avenue West Cobb will be opening soon!  It will feature all your favorites from the original store plus much more!”

According to a bio on Yelp, Dia learned the art of bubble teas in Taiwan: “Learning from the best, she brought her skills back to the US in the form of a cozy bubble tea shop in one of the busiest areas in Kennesaw.” Dai opened the shop “with the goal of providing authentic Taiwanese bubble tea to Kennesaw and surrounding areas.”

Queen Tea offers over 50 flavors of bubble tea and the beverages are made to order and hand-shaken. The drinks can be made with dairy or almond milk and come with a variety of toppings like tapioca bubbles, egg pudding, passionfruit pop boba, and aloe vera jelly.

In addition to the expansive beverage menu, Queen Tea serves up bites like salt & pepper chicken nuggets, steamed shrimp dumplings, and pork buns.

Queen Tea Marietta will open at 3625 Dallas Highway, Suite 770. We reached out to Dai but did not hear back at the time of publication. An opening date has not been announced.
