Pizza franchise &pizza will make its Georgia debut this fall. Franchise owners Mike Supplice and Rodney Lewis II will open &pizza this September at The Interlock in West Midtown at 1042 Northside Drive, Suite M110, according to a release.

The 1,100-square-foot restaurant is currently under construction. Supplice and Lewis will aim to bring their local experience to the &pizza brand, which is operated by Latitude Food Group. Supplice is a DeKalb County local, and Lewis lives in Cobb County and owns The Peach Cobbler Factory location in Smyrna.

“Finding the right partner is the most important part of growth through franchising – everything else stems from that,” Brett Willis, chief development officer for Latitude Food Group, said in the release. “Rodney and Mike are exactly the kind of franchisees we look for. They’re passionate about hospitality, deeply connected to the Atlanta community and genuinely believe in what makes &pizza different. Their entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to creating memorable guest experiences make them the ideal team to introduce our brand to Georgia.”

&pizza offers signature oblong pies and drizzles, alongside treats such as its Little Dippers, which are made with fruity cereal and the signature brand dough.

“From the first time we experienced &pizza, we knew it was a brand we wanted to be part of,” Supplice and Lewis said in the release. “Not only is the food incredible, but the energy is contagious, and the brand isn’t afraid to do things differently. Our favorite pie is the Dirty Bird because it perfectly captures the bold flavors and creativity that set &pizza apart. We believe Atlanta is the perfect place for &pizza’s first Georgia location, and we’re excited to create a welcoming place where students, families, professionals, and visitors can enjoy great food while becoming part of the community.”

In addition to the forthcoming Atlanta location, the brand, which launched in 2012, is planning to join additional markets including Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Nevada. There are also international locations planned in India.
