According to recent public records, a small coffee bar is coming to the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center facility at 300 University Blvd in Round Rock.

Costing around $500,000, the project will consist of “renovation of the existing chapel area into a coffee bar with designated storage closet and adjacent micromarket” over a space of approximately 800 square feet.

The coffee bar is sure to complement Round Rock Cafe, the hospital’s existing dining space, which serves up a “variety of dining options, including: home-cooked meals, homemade pizza and freshly packaged to-go sandwiches, salads and fruit items,” per the hospital website.

Construction is expected to wrap up by late May.
