According to recent public records, a new restaurant appears to be coming to Austin’s UT area.

Public records examined by What Now Austin list Limegreen’s address as both The Castilian, the famous West Campus residence which famously houses restaurants, and 1824 E Oltorf Street, a standalone building that houses several offices.

While the former seems the most reasonable, What Now Austin reached out to owner Annie Phan to get the scoop.

“We’re still a long way to go,” she says, adding that Limegreen is not yet ready to provide further information.

Fortunately, information on TDLR’s records provide key details: a February start and projected August completion date for the construction job of the “fully sprinklered restaurant renovation”, estimated to cost around $800,000.

Naturally, no opening date is available.
