Growing breakfast chain First Watch will be opening in San Marcos this summer, according to recent reporting in Community Impact.

“The restaurant, which will be located at Aquarena Crossing, is anticipated to open in June, according to Lacey Martin, vice president of Mac Haik Restaurant Group,” the report states.

“First Watch’s curated menu takes an elevated approach to traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings that are made to order using only the freshest ingredients,” a representative told What Now in 2023.

First Watch’s menu features choices like Avocado Toast, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and Million Dollar Bacon, alongside fresh-made juices and Project Sunrise coffee. The chain also offers a revolving season menu. Dishes on the season menu have included Barbacoa Quesadilla Benedict, Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash, and Watermelon Wake-Up juice, and more.

No opening date has been announced.
