According to public filings, Mirror Mirror plans to open at 10860 Crystal Falls Parkway, Building 4-420, in Leander. Permitting records list a construction completion date of January 2027.
Mirror Mirror was founded in Austin in 2011 by Martha Lynn Kale, an advertising executive who left her career to attend cosmetology school and open her own salon. The salon has built a reputation for its work with blonde hair and its clean beauty ethos, offering hair services including coloring, highlights, blow-outs, extensions, and haircuts for men, women, and children.
What Now Austin reached out to Kale to inquire about the opening timeline, but was unable to connect with her prior to publication. It remains unclear whether the Leander project represents a second location for the brand or a relocation of its existing Austin salon.
Mirror Mirror is a member of Green Circle Salons, a movement focused on reducing beauty industry waste, and dedicated recycling programs for foil, hair, and color packaging.
In 2024, the salon relocated its original Burnet Road location to a larger space at The Grove in Austin, nearly 13 years after first opening, with Kale describing the salon as a place where “southern charm meets innovation.”
