The national Detroit-style pizza brand, Jets Pizza, will soon be opening another area location, according to a recent filing with the State of Texas. The restaurant will be located in Round Rock at 1551 E Old Settlers Blvd.
Founded in 1978 by Eugene Jetts in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Jets Pizza has since grown to hundreds of locations across twenty states in the US. Defining themselves on their website, the company states “Jet’s offers more than famous Detroit-style pizzas, like hand-tossed round, thin-crust, and NY Style pizzas, fresh salads, breads, and desserts. One thing that will never change is their commitment to quality ingredients.”
Records examined by What Now Austin describe a “1455 sq.ft. Tenant Space remodel – Jet’s Pizza business establishment” that will cost an estimated $300,000. Construction should be finished by July.
Until the Round Rock location opens its doors, curious foodies may visit the three other existing Jets Pizza location in Austin on Congress Ave, Lamar Blvd, and Brodie Ln.
