Jun Ye, owner of Hook & Reel, will open Kyoka Sushi at 661 Louis Henna Blvd, within suite 300, according to recent public records.
“We will serve sushi, tempura, and Japanese-style udo noodles,” Mrs. Ye tells What Now Austin. “We will have a full bar as well.”
When asked why she decided to open her establishment in Round Rock, Ye points to convenience and promise.
“We have been in Austin for over five years, running Hook & Reel, and I’d been looking for a new restaurant space for a long time. One day I went to Round Rock and saw the vacant space in town and I thought ‘We can do this.’”
“On top of this, Round Rock is a great location given its proximity to Austin and its significant growth in the past years.”
As construction takes places through the fall, Ye and her team hope to be up and running by February 2024.
