FARM Hospitality, the restaurant group from Chef Brandon Carter, founder of FARM Bluffton, appears to be at work on a new pizza project in Savannah.

“The team behind some of Savannah’s most talked about spots, including Flora and Fauna, Common Thread, and Strangebird, are now working on a new pizza concept right next to Service Brewing Co.,” said an Instagram post published by Savannah Made Simple earlier this year.

At the time, no name had been released for the pizzeria project. What Now reached out to Brandon Carter on Thursday to ask about plans for a new pizzeria next to Service Brewing Co. Carter was not immediately available for comment.

Known for a number of Savannah restaurants, Carter’s FARM Bluffton has made its mark in South Carolina as well.

“At FARM Bluffton, Strangebird, and Common Thread, Carter puts an emphasis on sourcing locally and building personal relationships with purveyors,” says a profile of the chef on the FARM Bluffton website. His menus change as often as his inspiration, highlighting hyper-seasonal ingredients with global influences. Never taking his work too seriously and leaving room for play, Carter’s vision is to bring his community together through nourishment and friendship; when a customer feels like family, he knows he’s accomplished what he set out to do.
