Lake Murray is getting a major new dining and entertainment destination just in time for 2027. Located within a 66-acre residential retreat, Hooked on the Water will feature several different hospitality concepts, all of which will also be open to the public.
“We’re hoping to have it ready before Christmas and open on January 1,” Managing Partner and Chef Andy Marchant told What Now on Friday.
The food and drink program promises something for everyone. On the venue’s middle floor, you’ll find a fine dining concept, which Marchant describes as “elevated but still very comfortable” and featuring plenty of seafood. The bottom floor will be more geared towards pub food: think wings, smash burgers, and flatbreads. “More casual,” Marchant says.
Meanwhile, an outdoor bar will feature drinks in a lot of green space, and an amphitheater will offer an eclectic selection of music playing: jazz, country, acoustic guitar music, and more.
There will also be a dedicated space for events.
“We’re bringing something unique to the Midlands, a place where you can get whatever you want,” said Marchant. “We’re excited to get open.”
