A new Mexican restaurant and bar is coming to the Logan Square area.

The business listed as La Lunita recently put in a liquor license application at 2539 N Milwaukee Avenue. According to their instagram, they are aiming to open at the end of May. The owner also has a location called La Luna at 1726 S Racine Avenue.

On their sign, they are advertising tacos and tequila. The menu has not been released yet, but guests can expect a menu similar to the La Luna location. Their current location offers tortilla and taco making classes every first and last day of the month.

As of three days ago, they are looking for a manager, server, bartender, barback, busser, host, line cooks and kitchen prep. They advertise as being women owned and having fresh and local products to serve.

“At La Lunita, we celebrate the rich flavors of Mexico in a space that honors the artistic spirit of our community,” said their post on Instagram. In their most recent post, they said they are getting ready to serve.
