A hot new spot for wings is coming to the Romeoville area in mid-July.
Wing Snob announced the new restaurant will be at 482 N Weber Road on the west side of the city. Buildout is expected to start around May 1, and the restaurant will soon be hiring. In the same building there is currently a Great Clips hair salon, Lacey’s Place Slots & Video Poker bar and Little China restaurant.
“We’re still submitting plans now,” Vipul Soni, owner of the Romeoville location, told What Now Chicago.
The announcement came from the Village of Romeoville’s website and Facebook. Wing Snob currently has 13 locations in the Chicago area, one in Mount Prospect and the other in West Chicago. The business also has a major presence in the Detroit area.
“We are happy to have another food offering for our residents and are ready to welcome another new business to our community,” said Mayor of Romeoville John Noak.
Wing Snob advertises their wings as being freshly made and not cooked from frozen. They have signature sauces including Lemon Pepper, Awesome Sauce, Garlic Parm, Chicken & Waffles, Teriyaki, Honey BBQ and Buffalo.
The business caters for events, and there is an app for orders. Food trucks can also be reserved on the website.
