Real ingredients. Marinated daily. Customized at Corinth. According to public filings, Burning Rice plans to open a new location at 3211 FM 2181, Suite 100, in Corinth.
Burning Rice was founded in 2018 by the Choi family after relocating from Korea to Texas, with a goal of introducing more diners in the region to Korean cuisine. The chain has built a loyal following for its customizable Korean BBQ bibimbap bowls, served either in a standard dish or a sizzling hot stone bowl, with a choice of rice, marinated proteins, toppings, and a fried egg.
What Now Dallas reached out to CEO Will Choi, who confirmed that the Corinth restaurant is expected to open around January 2027, pending permits and construction timelines.
The Corinth restaurant will be corporate-owned. According to Choi, the demand for new locations has been a driving force behind the brand’s overall growth.
“We’re busy expanding the business, and we have a lot of customers from all around that are wanting us to build in different areas,” he said. “So we’re doing the best we can.”
What Now Dallas has previously reported on a Mansfield location. In that interview, Choi shared plans to open multiple locations over the next 12 months, making the Corinth restaurant part of that broader expansion.
The brand currently operates locations across Addison, Plano, The Colony, Frisco, Custer, Dallas’ Preston Center, and Hurst, with What Now Dallas also previously reporting on the brand’s second Frisco location as part of its broader North Texas buildout.
In an earlier interview Choi reflected on what’s been most rewarding about the brand’s growth.
“It’s not a very accessible cuisine for most of Texas here in the North Dallas area,” Choi said at the time. “So to see people enjoy it and share really good experiences and keep coming back, that’s been very gratifying.”
