SusieCakes will open a new bakery inside Frisco’s upcoming Fields West development, the company confirmed this week in a statement sent to What Now Dallas. The bakery will be located at 5501 Fields Parkway, Suite B120, within the mixed-use project.

According to the company, an opening is targeted for 2027, though a more precise timeline has not yet been announced. SusieCakes was founded by Susie Sarich, who built the concept in 2006, around her grandmothers’ handwritten recipe cards.

The bakery is known for its Vanilla Celebration Cake, its custom-decorated layer cakes, and scratch-made cupcakes, alongside classics like Southern Red Velvet and Old-Fashioned Chocolate, plus chocolate chip cookies and snickerdoodles.

The Frisco bakery will be SusieCakes’ sixth Texas location once open, adding to a Dallas-Fort Worth presence that already includes bakeries in Preston Center, East Dallas’ Hillside Village, and Fort Worth.

Founder and CEO Susie Sarich called North Texas “an incredibly important growth market” for the brand, noting the Frisco opening will let SusieCakes “become part of even more celebrations across Dallas-Fort Worth.”

The brand now operates more than 30 bakeries across California, Texas, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. The Frisco news comes alongside confirmation that SusieCakes is also moving forward on a fifth DFW bakery in Dallas’ West Village, a location What Now Dallas first reported on in April.
