Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and soon it can be every meal of the day for Aubrey. Work is set to begin on a new Denton Waffle House location this summer.
The beloved cult-classic restaurant will be a new construction located at 26790 East University Drive. The onset of the project is right around the corner; according to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, work will begin on June 1 of this year. The Waffle House should be completed by December 1, suggesting the restaurant will open either late in 2025 or early in 2026.
The eatery will have a dedicated 1,840 square feet to serve up its all-day breakfasts.
Waffle House is well known for its commitment to southern breakfast favorites, and for being open a highly accommodating 24 hours daily. The restaurant has been a beloved mainstay in the hospitality scene since it opened its first location in Georgia in 1955. The chain has spread to include more than 1,900 storefronts across 25 states.
