Porkys Chicken is taking the next step in its growth with plans to open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Denver.

According to the Denver Post, the family-owned concept is planning a new location at 401 N. Federal Blvd, where an approximately 1,800-square-foot restaurant will replace a former window repair shop.

The project is described as a grab-and-go concept, though plans indicate there may also be seating for guests.

Known for its rotisserie chicken, slow-cooked ribs and homemade sides, Porkys Chicken has built a loyal following through its food truck, which currently operates outside the property. According to its website, the business also offers catering for private events and gatherings.

The menu features whole rotisserie chickens, full racks of ribs and classic comfort-food sides, including rice, potatoes and coleslaw, served in generous portions.

An opening date has not yet been announced.
