A fast-casual South Korean spot is set to arrive in the state capitol soon.
A new Bibibop location looks to be on the way to East Lansing, from recent pictures on social media. This would be the chain’s first expansion into the state. An opening date and address have not yet been confirmed, but the new location is under construction.
Bibibop recently posted on LinkedIn that the store is hiring for all positions. This includes team members, team leads and operations leaders. The location was not specified, but the city was listed as East Lansing.
The chain is known for their buildable bowls, with a base of rice or noodles, added proteins, toppings, sauces and sides. A couple popular sauces are their yum yum and teriyaki flavors. For sides, stores offer miso soup, kimchi or pineapples.
Bibibop does not currently have any operating locations in Michigan. The chain first opened in Grandview Heights in Columbus, and now operates in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland and Washington D.C. There have been no additional announcements about expanding into Michigan.
What Now Detroit has reached out to representatives from Bibibop, and this article may be updated. For more information on Bibibop and menu items, visit their website.
