D’ATELIER Creative Studio announced recently that it is preparing to enter a new chapter as it moves into a new space, for which the address has not been publicly released yet. The black-owned workspace is designed as an outlet for bringing multiple creative disciplines together under one roof.
The company was created by Oso Unique and Jon Jamar, whose creative backgrounds span hair, beauty, fashion, and photography. They have worked to create a sanctuary for all those facets to combine together, where photoshoots, content creation, events, and other creative work can take place and be celebrated.
“This next chapter is about creating more, collaborating more, and building something special for Detroit’s creative community,” the brand shared.
Social media posts documenting the new location show the space, which was previously a hookah bar, undergoing construction and remodeling as the team works to transform the property into the studio’s next home.
D’ATELIER previously operated at 13380 Capital St. in Oak Park, past promo material shows. The reason for the move has not been announced, and it’s not clear when operations ceased at the old address.
